Sep. 5th - He says he is open to trade + cash. I attempt to paypal him the cash amount before sending over my Obituary shirt as the other half of the trade. He refunds my paypal payment and says it will take too long for the funds to reach him (was a red flag to me but wanted to give someone the benefit of the doubt) I send my Obituary shirt and zelle him about half the cash, the remaining cash to be sent when I get the hoodie as a compromise. He says he has shipped and will get me the tracking, and never responded.

In my almost 8 years of being on this site, I decided to take a risk in good faith and send him a little more than half the money through zelle. I then sent my shirt as well and provided tracking, a few days later he had said he had sent the hoodie and would send me the tracking later.

Have not been able to get a response to him ever since. He says he had shipped Sep 6th, has been online multiple times since then.

Really unfortunate to be scammed on my favorite platform for shirts.

UPDATE 9/16 - After this post came out he had messaged me saying that he has been too busy to send out my item, but he is not looking to scam myself or anyone. I have asked when he will ship out my item and he has yet to respond. Hoping he follows through but we will see.

i am going through this right now with another user and i am so upset. there was a pin that was limited time and luckily i THOUGHT i found someone to sell it to me. he said he wanted $20 but i sent him $30 to pay for shipping and just to be nice bc i was shocked he was gonna sell it to me especially for that price. he said sep. 11th he shipped it out the week prior and i have yet to receive it! he also quit responding to messages and has been on multiple times and i have asked for a tracking number and never got one :’)

Yeah this guy scammed me too, luckily I used the buyer protection on Venmo so I got my money back. I was supposed to buy his Victory Records hoodie for $100. I sent the payment and he never responded (even when it showed he was recently active.) Still to this day I haven’t gotten it because he obviously tried to scam me. After I got my money back I said to him “got my money back nice try” and he said “ok? You want a cookie?” So lame lol. Lookout for people who are like this. Poor communicators are the usual suspects.

I get it, but that's the kind of thing scammers are hoping for. They abuse the perception of trust and honesty. It really sucks. I'm sorry this happened to you and thank you for informing us so we never deal with this person.
