I'd like to hear what you guys do when a pin hole pops up on your vintage shirt.

my answer is "Act like you would crust pants" Aka wear it to shreds friend. I like my shirts and pants with dirt and grime.

Maybe I'm a heretic but I actually like to fix holes and recolor my faded shirts. If it's a small hole, just sew it close from the inside. If it's a bigger one, use a patch. Take some shirt fabric and cut a piece that's a bit bigger than the hole. Sew the piece around he hole. Then sew the actual hole to the patch fabric.

You do that by hand or use a machine?

By hand to ensure it goes into the right spot. Also it's better for the fabric to not sew it too tight.

To those saying wear it til it shreds, believe me I done that to many and some vintage ones that will never be printed again, but it sucks when the shirt is still kinda new and this happens.

I've killed so many shirts because of bullet belts and studded vests. I just wear 'em until their either BP material, or wall hangers. I will however sew a rip in an armpit or something along those lines. Otherwise, they die with honour.
