Is it possible to signal other members to be careful of fake buyers who reserve items for you until a date and then ultimately do not keep their word, or worse, no longer respond to you even though they continue to connect regularly ?
Ah, the classic Non Paying Buyer... the scourge of eBay and other sites. The solution may be to be less generous about letting people reserve an item and just treat it as a first come first serve basis. I only give the privilege of reserving stuff to people I've dealt with before and I know are solid.
This is indeed what I intended to do, moreover, not everyone respects their promise to purchase. It was to be kind, it's a shame that because of some, everyone pays the consequences.
