how to achieve vocals similar to bethlehem, or how to better my shrieking vocals?

ive been practicing for awhile, but sometimes i'll still find my vocals to be quite shaky and not powerful enough. not sure if this really counts under tutorials or anything, but any tips would be appreciated.

have you tried online or local classes from musicians and such there must be a hell tone of them online so if you got the money go for it other wise try some YouTube tutorials just know that not everyone is meant to be a singer

no problem man your welcome I would seriously suggest you look for musicians that have been in the specific gener they produce because there's a high chance they know how to do more then let's say a musician that was in hardcore/straight edge or sludge band

Yea, online has got stuff relevant to the Metal scene, like how to do it properly without wrecking yourself permanently early in your career.

I also recommend lubricating/coating your throat with various Oils (ie: Cooking oils, like Olive Oil.) I know there are products that are specific to aid vocalist, like a throat spray (typically flavored,) I've seen them on sale at Guitar Center (15-20 years ago,) I imagine they are still around. Sorry if I don't recall the product name.

Best o' luck to ya.

Aye, 100%.

Oh yea, one more thing, the more physically demanding vocals require time to hone and for your body to adapt, do what feels right+good and try to maintain it. Then when you and your body got the hang of it try cranking the difficulty up. Gotta "condition that leather," ya know?
