Thanks. It's a mix of both right now. The steel cap and butterfly. Eventually they'll all be steel cap. Some also have a little sewing back up through them.

Most of those pins look pretty old. I see a lot of new enamel pins on ebay and Etsy now...there's more to collect now! \m/

I have very few butterfly clips now, actually. Just ordered some more of the steel top. Some of the pins won't accommodate the steel top clips though. About 99% of my pins are vintage. The hunt for these is really what excites me the most! Just when I think I've seen/had them all something else immerses from the deep recesses of time!
