Slayer My first Battle Jacket, circa 84

My first jacket/vest. I wore it until the sleeves got holes in the elbows , then cut them off. Those are all original patches that I purchased or traded for in or at that time. I used to move my patches around alot, in between layouts I commited the crime of washing the smelly coat. The fiened club patch was a drawing on a folder at school, my friend traced it and made a few patches from it. In the pocket is an exciter patch, there were 5-6 more patches in the other pockets but they have vanished over the years. The Megadeth and purple Celtic Frost (both official/printed) and the Slayer bp are still favorites of mine,

Yeah I reckon it looks heaps better, Purple is an epic colour in my opinion.

The CF patch was something theybsold in 86 on tour. That was purchased at the CF,Voi Vod,Running Wild show at the Metro, Chicago. The backpatch I got in 85 after selling my "Live Undead" bp , only so I could get the $ to buy the Hell Awaits bp.

That's a cool story, seeing those 3 legendary bands on the same stage back in the glory days now I'm jealous haha! Don't recall seeing that CF patch before is a rare one, and about Slayer you made the right choice, I like a lot the Live Undead artwork but this Hell Awaits is superior

Need this Backpatch! I only have it with Blue Background! But I need this one with purple Background too! haha!!
If somebody read this comment and have the purple Version, let me know! I have a blue Background Version for trade!!!!

When I bought that Hell Awaits patch the record store had only one purple, and as you see there was a problem with the screen print. until this site, I had never seen it on anyones coat after that.
