Slayer Kutte (February 10)

I started my Kutte in August 2009 (has not yet seen a Metal Open-Air, unfortunately...) and I'm still far from finishing it (as far as a Kutte can be finished at all). Lot of uncovered space left still... All patches are sewed on by hand, stitch for stitch. The Exodus-Tempo-Patch on the back is handmade (check out my other entry on this website), as is the sodom-logo on the front. All six pockets are still usable and not closed by sewing.

Edit: Pic-update (april): no new patches but final arrangement of the studs and pins, and added two small chains above the front pockets. And added a pic of the satanic seahorse of death (patch I got in primary school's swimming lessons, now I added (hand-embroidered!) the most... senseless name for it that came into my mind ;) ).

Love the Overkill patch, I thought I was the only one with a Taking Over patch, did you get that somewhere or make it yourself? I couldn't find one anywhere!

Also the Exodus patch is great, as is the Agent Orange, nice work!

The Overkill-patch actually consists of two patches: a printed Taking Over-patch (but quite bad quality, the patch is very stiff, almost like plastic, witch makes it hard to sew on, and the colors are pale) and over it I put a embroidered Overkill logo patch, replacing the band logo of the printed patch below.

I definitely won't put on another printed patch like the Taking Over. Though not all printed ones are that bad; the Megadeth on the front is printed as well, but in great quality, as is the backpatch of course.

I got the thrash metal patch from ebay (as almost all patches), just search for "thrash metal patch" (you will get many results but anywhere among them the patch should be).

Could've done with studs on the shoulders I'd say... and the Pantera patch feels rather out of place. Except that, great!

I have put some studs (the small round ones) on the shoulder, just not from throat to arm but along where the sleeves once bagan along Destruction-Tankard-Testament-SacredReich and Slayer-Onslaught-Hellhammer-Metallica, respectively (from back to front).

The reason why I didn't put on any studs between throat and arms is that the straight "ridge" there is randomly covered by small patches...

I now removed the studs along the shoulders 'cause they're not really moshpit-compatible... I distributed them on the front of the vest on and above the breast pockets.

Ebay, just search for thrash patch and you'll find this one, also one in read instad of yellow and one in another font. I'm referring to the German ebay, BTW.

And (another BTW ;-) ) this is a really old version of my kutte, just check my profile for the current version!
