Another poverty project that took me from September up until now, still some work yet. However, by far my favorite pair I've made. Took a lot of time soaking all fabric in vinegar, sewing on, sanding each piece down a bit, applying wax, then show polish for shine. Will likely wax again.
Every patch on here was hand painted
Softens the fabric for very cheap. This makes it softer to touch, (I like multiple textures for stunning), and helps when you "sand" a bit so the wax and paint or polish can actually grab onto the fabric rather than just sitting on top and eventually falling off

What does soaking in vinegar do? Is it for smells/cleaning?

This is sick! How long did you soak it in vinegar for?

Beautiful pair, nice attention to detail!
