Slayer Battle Jacket...First Attempt

First attempt...going to start a new one soon, I got really particular about the spike spacing and had to redo a bunch of them, so there are visible holes where they used to be. Came out decent.

Thanks! Yeah, I like the back better than the front myself, if I had it to do over again I'd try and make the front mostly black/red/white patches too, I think it looks good on this color of denim.

Thanks! I actually think it's a little bare if anything...I like the "patches everywhere" look too, but I think if I tried to make one like that it'd look bad...plus my preference for shaped patches would make it harder to fit everything together.

Fucking awesome, man. I love everything about this jacket; all the bands are fucking good! And I love all of them (except GnR, Dethklok and Motörhead, I like them, not love haha). Seriously nicely done, the back is great! Love the bp, the Maiden stripe and you can never go wrong with a Jagermeister patch! Love the color of the jacket and the spikes. Really really awesome. 666 flames for sure.

Like others have said, I like the simple design you have. The quilted look with patches on every inch of a vest is cool, no doubt, but for myself, I like clean and uncluttered. Less is indeed more sometimes.

Looking good! Those spikes are great, I know how difficult it can be to do that! Really like the Judas Priest patch on the front, killer! By the way, What buttons are those on the pocket flaps?

Thanks! From left to right, the buttons are Accept, Mercyful Fate, S.O.D. and Cannibal Corpse. They're just the cheap Mad Patcher ones...The Mercyful Fate one is okay because it's just the name in white, but the other ones look pretty crappy, I'll probably replace them with something else at some point.
