I was never so keen on the back of my kutte, so gave it a drastic reshuffle. More studding needs to be done, especially in the areas of dead space. Front is the same as before.

This vest looks fucking great! Love the Venom, Aura Noir, Celtic Frost line on the back, because of the symmetry and the bands similarities. That Anaal Nathrakh patch is nice too, you don't see them here often, which is a shame. Also fits perfectly on a Crust/Grind vest, since their sound is very grindy. Very cool, actually needs six flames.

Tbh I've been meaning to replace the Nathrakh patch because I only like their really early stuff, so I feel a little like I'm misrepresenting myself as more of a fan than I actually am by having their patch so prominently hah. I think about this stuff too much though :p

Nah, everybody has their favourite albums or songs. I don't think anybody likes each and every album and song of any band unconditionally, not even those of their favourite bands. If you asked me, I'd say you're not misrepresenting anything, if your like their early stuff, you still like the band somehow, right?

It seems I think too much about this stuff too :)

with bands where i only like a certain era, i personaly prefer to have a patch with album art from that era, and not just a logo. like i love early Bolt Thrower, thats why i have In Battle There Is No Law patch, i woulnt wear any other patch from them. sadly not allways possible, i have a Death SS logo patch, but i hate most of their new stuff (1986 onwards).
though thats also the case with Venom, i dont feel its really neccesary with them since 99% if their fans can agree that they put out really generic crap these days. so no one will assume you like the Metal Black album..

I get what you mean, but to completely agree with you the premise would be that I give a fuck what other people think of me and that is clearly not the case :)

Seriously though, I'm on the fence with that one regarding Peste Noire, since I really like their music (all of what I've listened to so far), but don't know what to think of their ideology, which is really quite complex and interesting, but embodies a lot of what I am against. So I've never used and worn any merch of them. I didn't do this completely deliberately, in fact I just noticed that I am behaving this way. That's why I'm going to get a Peste Noire patch for my next jacket. I like their music, so why not.
