Type O Negative - Suspended In Dusk (2020 Reissue)

Literally the only saving grace of 2020 was that Roadrunner dished out some tasty reissues, which are largely faithful to the originals of the 1990s. Enter this Suspended In Dusk reprint. Aesthetically, the 2020 version is virtually identical to '95 Blue Grape shirt, almost indiscernible on quick glance. Where the '95 print uses the forest scheme of the Summer Breeze CD maxi cover, this reissue uses the image from the October Rust disc face (which is ironically, the same image as on the Summer Breeze disc itself). The back uses the exact same scheme as before, but where the original uses the same negative photos of the Summer Girl insert (which themselves are the same photos as the original Black No. 1 shirt), the reissue uses alternate shots presumably from the same photo shoot. Finally, it preserves one of the two sleeve prints of one of the rarer original versions on the true right sleeve. All in all, it's a fantastic reissue for collectors who want to save a buck or two (hundred) off an original print.

Man I'm so glad you posted this, had no idea that Roadrunner had released a grip of classic shirts! I've been hankering for a "Be A Man" shirt for ages and the only options were Indonesian bootlegs or triple digit vintage gear. Yours looks bad ass, especially nice printing for a modern shirt.

It's funny you say that, because that was the other one I ordered - I actually ordered the long sleeve but Roadrunner sent a short instead, so I'm waiting to see if they're still sending the long. I'll post either or both eventually! The shirt is great, same heavier cotton as the vintage stuff.

How long did it take for Roadrunner to process your order? I bought mine 2 weeks ago and they haven't even shipped it yet ;_;

I ordered it about two weeks before Christmas and it arrived either the 23rd or 24th. They might be having some delays though, because I've contacted them about the All For None long sleeve and I'm getting kind of a run around.

Seriously, I was super happy with the print quality and the overall feel of the shirt. It's kind of on the line between the modern soft feel and the vintage heavyweight stuff we love so much. Thank you for the fire!

I bet you were ! This is really gorgeous, hasn't your t-shirt suffered too much since the time with the washing machines etc ? Because, the Bloddy Kisses by Roadrunner is so fragile that I have to wash mine by hand ^^
