Paragon! Do they still exist? I always thought that they walk a bit under the radar when it comes to cool Heavy Metal from my country. Always liked the old Albums, especially Steelbound and Chalice of Steel.
Cool Shirt! Could be a Warhammer design.
They sure do!
I guess they were abit non active from like `08-`11 or something.
But they did one killer album in 2012 and are back for attack.
Yeah nothing hip or cool about these guys and that is exactly what i love about the band.
Was really happy to find out about them back in `98 when it was hard to find these kind of bands.
Cool, i guess i would have to check out everything after Revenge though, hahaha
Yeah , describes them precisely. Though being active in a time where alot of these very mediocre and often German Bands popped up (late 90s and early 2000s that is) they are very untypical for that little sub-sub-genre. No Kitsch it all, just pure, honest Steel. (Not that i completely despise kitsch, from time to time i love my Labyrinth, Heavenly, Lost Horizon, ... You name it, hahaha)
Yeah do that i`m sure you will dig some later stuff to especially the last two albums.
Well i was always more into these guys and Sacred Steel than Hammer Fall for example if you get what i`m after.
Nothing wrong with HF really but not my band really.
Alot of my friends really got into the whole "power" metal scene around that time i didn`t :).
My lady loves Lost Horizon by the way big fan.
Yeah, sure i get what You wanna say. Do not need to tell You that i am a big fan of Sacred Steel. ;)
Hammerfall was actually my first Heavy Metal band directly after Manowar (freshly when Glory to the Brave came out, which i hold very high up til today. After Legacy i lost interest), so back then i also delved into the more fluffy side of Heavy Metal, hahaha
Funny fact, of the people i know that are into Lost Horizon, all are women, hahaha
Yeah, but i like my kitsch, ha.
I also really liked Hammerfall for like one summer hahaha :)!
When they released they first one i was like wow a swedish band who do classic metal!
Never really got into the vocals but i dig the album and still have it.
Bought the second one to and also lost interest in the band.
Regarding Lost Horizon, i guess that is your feminine side talking yeah :).
