He was a 16th century German farmer also known as the Werewolf of Bedburg... it was the time of the witch hunts; after torture he confessed to having practiced black magic, that he was able to metamorphose into a wolf and that he had killed and eaten 14 children and 2 pregnant women.......
haha yeah a fine citizen for sure... but since he got tortured i wonder if any of those confessions of killing was true..... anyway, he got executed in a really brutal way... i think Macabre could fill a whole album about that haha
Indeed a fine upstanding citizen haha.
Yes, torture isnt known to get accurate answers out of people. I mean, if somebody pulled a nail out of my finger (or even just cut it to close to the finger with a scissor) I would admit to killing JFK man haha.
hahaha... well, they did a lot more to that poor bastard...He was put to a wheel, where flesh was torn from his body in ten places, with red-hot pincers, followed by his arms and legs. Then his limbs were broken with the blunt side of an axehead to prevent him from returning from the grave, before he was beheaded and burned on a pyre.... spectacular way to leave i must say...
Yes, a hell of a way to go! Imagine all the man hours they must have spent to come upp with all theese morbid ways to kill a man, woman or even a child for that mather. What if they would have spent all that time to study the nature, space and all the siences.
Oh, thats right. Then they would have been burnt alive by the christians..
I just read a book about it to. A new book (2 years) written by a number of swedish historians, trying to gather all info about them from the day they found them til today. Very interesting I must say.
yes... especially the role of the so-called Bible-commision under the presidency of Ratzinger is very interesting .. who was at the same time head of the Congregatio pro Doctrina Fidei... with other words the inquisition !! They really tried to cover up things....
Yes indeed they did! Have you read "holy blood, holy grail" richard and michael is also authors togheter with Henry lincoln in this one. Just like the one about the dead sea scrolls its maybe not the best book out of an historical perspective, but the strenght with both theese books is (in my opinion) that they makes you think and make up an opinion of your own.
