Nuremberg and Fuerth are two cities, basically grown into a large one. However, both have a long history of more than a thousand years and there is a strong rivalry between them, comparable to the NYC - New Jersey one. Therefore people from Fuerth (the smaller city) don't want to be called a part of Nuremberg.
