well..there are 2 options:
a) u bought it on release date and payed a high price but justifiable - because box-sets are never cheap
b) u bought it long after the release date..and payed a ridiculous high price
..hahaha...but when i see your answer..i guess it was B..haha..
Last time (and thats min 1-2 years ago or longer) i was looking for this box, the price was around 350 euro...., since this day i tried to avoid looking for this box ;(

Option A in fact and i payed 50 € and got it delivered to the door by one of the band members that is what i call good service :) .
