Metallica - Ride the Lightning
I was mighty surprised when my local supermarket had a rack of vinyls on display. And even more so by the surprisingly decent selection. Nothing to uncommon, but some "classics" I didn't have, like this one. For as much as this album shaped me as a music listener I had yet to add it to the collection. Probably may favorite Metallica record.
Came with a download card witch will most likely never be used, but it looked pretty nice to be honest.

Indeed, can't say how many times I've listened to this one while growing up.
The card will probably end up in my wallet. Who actually uses download cards?

Me too, listened to it a lot when I was a Teenie! Well, I did use them to store music digitally (to listen to while I'm away from home f.ex.), but I'm on an IPad now, & most downloads don't work on it strangely... sucks!! But ofc you're right, Downloads never can make up the sound of a vinyl (or even CD)!

Personally, If I want to download an album, I'll just go ahead and download it(A pirate I was meant to be). When I buy an album the need to download it isn't really that pressing anymore. I'd rather just put on the album than listen to the download, and if I want the album on the go I probably already have it digitally. But I guess download cards is good if you don't know, or feel iffy about downloading albums through other channels.
I've never been much of an audiophile, I have diminished hearing on one ear so it really isn't an option anyways. ^^
