This album was a big disappointment for me. The production is really weak and Karl sounds hoarse and out of breath. Hopefully the third one is at least on par with the first.

yeah..im not the biggest fan of this album either. Thats why i bought it so late...for only 5Euros.. ;) i prefer their first one...lets see how the new one will sound like. ....and BT will be still gods....forever!

I love the production of the demos. Oftentimes demos sound heavier than when they get studio-ized. Drone strike, for example, is so fucking heavy. I thought the Possessed demo singles sounded perfect and then the studio demo sounded like the demos, so I'm very happy about that.

i know exactly what u mean. Same reason why often the first album is the best of a band. An impulsive take of their beeing this moment, not much money, not much time = often the best album a band is recording in a studio...
