A pretty below average bootleg of Exuma's debut album. The layout is just so weak that I wonder why the even bothered. It sounds fine though, so there's that. Amazing album on a purely musical level. I's stay away from this particular release though unless you find it cheap.

As do I! "Exuma II" is a worthy follow up as well. I even think it surpasses this one at times. But it's really hard to pick a favorite of the two.

Have you checked the cover of "Mama Loi Papa Loi" from Denial of God? Really strong cover!

I think you should. It's at least as good as this one. As I said I have a hard time deciding witch one I like best.
I have, but it was some time ago. I recall Denial of God's version being good enough. But I feel like they were going more for doing a bog standard "metal cover" rather than trying to capture and putting their own spin on the ritualistic madness of the original. I will have to listen to it again to refresh my memory before saying too much though.
