It is always better to remove the plastic wrap!
Some LPs form a permanent bond with the plastic wrap after a while, and it becomes impossible to separate the two.
It is better to use protective sleeves.
Just some well-intentioned advice from a vinyl enthusiast.

This has been happening ever since LPs were shrink-wrapped.
Some chemical compounds in the printing of LP covers are incompatible with the plastic of the film in which they are shrink-wrapped.
I have a few LPs here where the covers have been ruined forever because of this.
I always remove the shrink wrap from every LP immediately and can only recommend this to every vinyl collector.

I have also this edition. I do not what the good opinion with the shrink. Sometimes it works, sometimes damaged the covers...
