i'm over the whole bootleg/original shite ! you buy a patch because you support a band !!! when you buy the original you don't support the band directly cuz you're buying second hand, or third, or fourth.......
you DO support the band however by putting their logo out there, wether it be bootleg or not !! so the only person you screw is yourself ! (special exclusion for people that make bootlegs and try to pass them off as the original though, you can fucking die !!!)
i just buy patches of the bands i like and love to fill my jacket and refuse to pay out the nose so i can look ''cool'' towards my metal peers, cuz that's all this is..... you buying fifth hand patches for insane prices claiming you support the band (wich is bullshit), you only buy em so that sweaty mongoloid at wacken will say your battlejacket looks ''cool''.... i have a jacket cuz i love metal, not so some pack of sweaty ratts will say i'm cool !

just my two cents....should xreate a topic about this....

ur completly right, i also have posted at ur topic dude. Like i said above, i bought the bootleg..since i never expect i would get the original one. Its a very nice patch, for me - the best Sepultura patch AND its still my fave album of them. So i decided to buy the bootleg.
a few weeks later, on a austrian second hand/flea-market page..i found the original patch for 5(!) euro :) ..so..i decided to buy it 'again'..thats the whole story..haha...

Well ... imo both are nice.
To be honest, this is one of the few patches I'm really not into :) ... but 5 flames for you collection & as mentioned 1000 times before: this would look awesome on your VEST too !!! ( you're getting in a tight spot mate haha )

i know that this patch is pretty common on vests...but its the only one (beside the Welcome to the jungle) i rly like of Sepultura ..(ok..and a small Chaos AD exists as well..which is nice)...so ill use it anyway i think..hehe..i think the same: the boot isnt that bad...if u keep in mind: boot = 6 euro, original = 100..lol

Yeah.. the " Welcome ... " patch is really awesome. I also like the " Beneth ... " one.
And you're abolutely right ... I also would pay 6€ for a boot that 100€ for a original patch.

Great hunt, and interesting comparison of the original and boot versions. I think most of the boot patches China, of a great quality, and above all, a great alternative for those who can not (or think absurd) pay very high values for a simple patch.
Now everyone can have a style vest old school for a good price, and most importantly, take your favorite bands and albums with good quality patches ... but looks like, or can I may be wrong, it angered some people seriously.

I have the original one, and I'll buy the boot too soon !! :D

thx my friend :) ..yeah...exactly my point of view too. U can see above what i said to DevilzForce. The original one ..just cost me 5 Euro..but i bought the Bootleg patch before..since i think its great. And its not the only bootleg patch i have..., i dont mind..i just want a good looking patch of a band i like!..copyright or not? i give a fuck..its just a patch..haha
