Iron Maiden Quick update on my Maiden-Kutte Project

OK, here is a quick update on my Kutten-Project.
After months of despair and disapointments I was able to find a useable denim in XXXL.

I arranged all the Patches I own in hours and hours but the result stayed the same: because of the size (curse of the Beer-Barrel ;-) the patches I own at the moment are not enough to cover the whole denim in the way I want it.

So I thought: Why not use cuurent available Maiden BPs and shape them or cut them out to cover more space?

Modern day BPs may be clearer printed, but on many of them the print does not cover the whole BP anymore the way it was "back in the days". Thats one of the reasons most metalheads prefer vintage BPs of their heroes.

So I ordered two Maiden standard BPs from a dealer, roughly at around 8 € each. The POM and the Debut.

My wife was (as usual) kind enough to help out. She´s a wizard with the sewing machine ;-) Great work Honey!

Pic 1: Cutting out the Debut BP; The Edges of the N and M will be slightly visible at the end, but I don´t care

Pic 2: Under the guillotine! The Edges get stiched in red.

Pic 3: Iron the Maiden

Pic 4: End product: Killer Patch! N and M slightly visible, as I said before

Pic 5: Would you trust this man? ;-)

Pic 6: My vintage Aces High and the already cutted POM

Pic 7: POM close-Up. Edges Top and bottom stiched in black

Pic 8: The Stripe from the POM-BP got saved for later. You just can´t have enough Maiden Stripes, do ya?

BTW: It´s shocking how thin modern BPs are. Value for money, anyone?

But I´m vera happy with the end results, especially the debut-shape looks fantastic!
