Humans in the smartphone age: always ready to jump and pay at the sound of a push notification.

I don''t want to know how many gym sessions, meals, shits or even fucks get interrupted because people need this limited tech gadget or that limited piece of merch.

To say it with Barney: "I abstain"

Naw just me being two months late to the party lol.
I'm always surprised that some of these patch designers don't release a second run of a patch when it proves to be wildly popular, but since I've never designed anything I can't really speak on that haha

Hey, I made these a while ago. In case you are still interested you should check Obsequiaes pages sometime soon. They will have some for sale.
To answer your question as to why I don't do a second run:
I'm not interested in making money out of this merch. It's solely a hobby for me and people who like the same kind of music and the designs I do.
If I'd do a second run; for some bands I would not be able to secure a break-even situation; whereas some bands are so popular that I could easily sell double or triple the amount I produce. I don't want to follow the "supply and demand" concept to be able to produce patches even for the smallest bands out there without having a capitalist approach. I despise the concept of infinite reproduction on an industrial scale. Sure patches are made with machines and are reproducible; but I like to keep it small, personal and high quality to at least add a little soul to the product. But that's just my 2cents.

That is definitely some good news! I'll keep an eye on their website and hopefully get to claim one! I had tickets to see them this year but 2020 happened, so getting some patches will be a nice surprise.

I do see where you are coming from with the limited production. I believe Pull the Plug has a similar view regarding his works. The only pisser is that loads of great patches are being released out but the only way to grab them is either place an order within minutes, or wait until a scalper decides to flip one of his "investments" on eBay. You have to be either lucky or willing to pay a huge markup after the fact, and it's hard to show love for your favorite bands when those are your only two options.
