I guess my post is a bit vague/poorly formulated. But what I meant was basically this. Do they really think that this phrase is so well put, so thought provoking and memorable that it will become the new slogan for future generations of Metallica fans to come? It's just so stock, so edgeless and hollow coming from a bunch of 50+ year olds. The image of Dee Snider laying in his pool, surrounded by every luxury conceivable to man and still trying to find things to be pissed of about comes to mind. It's gutter poetry coming from upper class socialites, it's basically self parody at this point.

Cool got ya. I think it is just a common phrase. "shit outta luck" lots of people say it. I did do not think Metallica are trying to coin this as their own.

at least this patch got a lot of comments so thats been fun :)

Which is one of the most awful patches.. If not the worst! I don't think this Metallica patch is too bad though! Sure the phrase is hollow and kinda stupid without any context.. But the song kicks ass! And that's what it's about! Not a new slogan or something..

Least they could have done is put the Metallica logo, or just the iconic "M" somewhere. You'll need a frickin' magnifying glass to find out to find out this is Metallica related.
That said, most of the new 2017 patches ajnin uploaded look top notch (that JITF patch is sweet) so I can excuse this flop.
