*** Master Of Puppets Special ***
I had this idea lately, to honour my first favorite metal album which I still sometimes come back to after all these years: Master Of Puppets. I was really addicted to this one in my youth, going so far as to make pointillistic interprepations of the cover artwork for art class. This patch was on my first vest which I wore to school as a teen. Got it at EMP around 1996 I think, so it's one of the oldest, if not the oldest, Master Of Puppets artefact I have. I still have the old vest, but it only has one patch left on it of the four that it used to have. Sometimes I think that it would have been better to have kept that old vest intact and just get the same patches again for my second vest, but at least the first one lives on with the two Metallica patches that were cannibalised from it. Their placement shows them to be the base of my metal journey. The other patch is Ride The Lightning.

So I'm going to post a series of vintage Master Of Puppets items that I have collected over the years, this might take a while. Some of it might seem a bit redundant, when it comes to Music For Nations CD pressings, for example, since the differences between some of them are rather subtle. Still, I think it's valuable to have this stuff documented in detail on here. It's an important album, after all.
