\m/ This one is so fuckin' great. I was so happy when I got mine six years ago and yours is like new. Awesome!
Are you sure about the year? I always wondered when those backpatches were printed.

no not really sure on the year. But i know they pumped out a lot of different designs during 1987, i think that's when they started printing Metallica back patches.

If somebody know the exact date this was printed let me know please.

I started buying mine in 1990

Pretty sure that it was made when Kil 'Em All was released! There are a few of those "old" backpatches in the kind of this one, like an old show no mercy or Venom's black metal holocaust, and they are definitely not younger than 1985!!! So I am pretty sure this one is from 1984!

Awesome patch, I have never seen this one before; I have a Metallica patch from the "Kill Em All For One" tour with Raven.

I could make a bp out of my Kill ´Em All shirt and sell it for good money, haha

Edit: these backpatches were made by German catalogue "Bullshirt" in very limited amounts back in the 80s, they made a lot of different motives in that kind. I remember I have had patches of Accept and Motörhead in this style. Nowadays they are very rare gems.
