Freelance Technical Artist
I've been around heavy music for most of my life. A lot of it started with my dad, who had me listening to Pantera, Motörhead, Iron Maiden and Megadeth growing up. Those were some of the first bands that really stuck with me, and I think they probably had a bigger influence on my taste than I realised at the time.
As I got older, I started digging further into metal on my own and eventually ended up going down the rabbit hole properly. Thrash led to death metal, death metal led to black metal, and from there it just kept branching out.
I'm a freelance Technical Artist working in games. I've worked on projects including Baldur's Gate, Call of Duty and Path of Exile, as well as various other projects over the years. Most of what I do is on the technical side of game art, although exactly what I'm working on tends to change from project to project. Outside of that, I'm mostly into games, music and collecting. I've always been interested in the artwork surrounding metal as much as the music itself, so I've accumulated a fairly unhealthy amount of shirts and physical releases over the years.
I'm half Norwegian and half British, and I spend quite a bit of time between England and Norway. I travel over fairly regularly to see family and generally spend time there, so both places have always felt like home in their own way. Being able to go back and forth between the two is something I've always really appreciated, especially having grown up with both sides of my family.
