Grimmgotts Dragons of the Ages
Official woven Grimgotts patch for the band's second album Dragons of the Ages. A great slab of modern power metal in the symphonic vein rather than the increasingly popular Eurodance inspired fare we hear so much these days. One of my biggest gripes is bands producing low quality patches, so it is great to see another band make something detailed and striking (much like the recent Battle Born Dragon Heart patch). The colours are simply splendid and the rich artwork is represented in sharp detail. Limited to 50 copies and sold at live shows and via Bandcamp.

If you can take some bombast and pomp in your power metal then I can certainly recommend then! They keep it the right side of abject silliness, but appreciate this won't be to all tastes...

I'm more into the Blind Guardian / Gamma Ray style but I always check out people's recommendations! Gotta say the quality of that patch looks incredible. You can tell a lot more thought went into it's creation vs scaling an album cover and tthen reducing it to 3 or 4 colors. Would love to know who wove this into existance...

Honestly, I'm the same, but this more Rhapsody adjacent style isn't a a total dealbreaker for me. There's a hint of folk metal in their music and you can tell they are an earnest bunch of dudes. For sure man, it's genuinely one of the nicest patches I've seen in recent years. I'll try to get on to the band and ask because I'd love to see them produce another high quality killer like this one!

I'm not sure, they had been sitting on them for a while and then it shifted to sold out after one show so it might be worth messaging the band!

That would explain why the stock seemed to disappear overnight. Anyways, I did send an email earlier this month, but I haven't heard anything back yet. I suppose it's just because they're busy with festivals and hiring a new bassist. Thanks for the reply

I recently came across this band at the start of 2023. Great modern power metal stuff from these guys! I would love this patch, but I just recently found out that these patches are sold out on their bandcamp site.
