Like last year, I spent my birthday at Hammer Open Air with my fiancé! Had a blast, saw a lot of great bands but without a doubt the best band was Repulsion. We had a talk with Col Jones before the gig and when Glenn mentioned my birthday he gave us free drink- coupons (I thought he gave us two but I think Repulsion's set made the last one double so I had 3). Saved up one for the memory and used the other 2. And yeah we caught both Scott and Matt's picks. Also saw Venom from the front row! What the fuck did you do on your birthday?!

- Last year: Went to a nice free festival in Essen; Seeing Desaster, Dr. Living Dead, Asphyx and some more. After this going to Düsseldorf, got wasted, got into a fight with some guys, wake up in the waiting room of a hospital and wait for my buddy to get stitched up, go back home without sleep, picked up my girlfriend from the airport in the afternoon and got dumped by her in the evening. Cool birthday.
- This year (in about 5 weeks): Going to see Dr. Living Dead in Essen ... and after that hopefully not the same again :)
