Gibson My gear.
Sun, 28/10/2012 - 12:57Just the random picture of my current guitars and Amp. I play an Mesa Boogie Rectoverb on a 4x12 oversized rectifier cabinet. My guitars are an Gibson les paul Standard 2008 and an Paul Reed Smith SE custom 24 25th anniversary edition. I'm gonna post some real pictures of them but for now I've just got the random pictures I found.... The only picture of my PRS is with my old amp I don't have anymore and my cat's posing on it too, it was the only picture of the guitar I have at the moment. I will try to make some full pictures of it in the future.

Ik twijfel nogsteeds of ik de bijgeleverde slagplaat erop boor trouwens. Bij de Les Paul. Durf alleen niet lol. What would you do? I've asked alot of other guitarplayer but it really depends on the person. I think I will leave it without one.

I would leave it this way !!!! It really depends of your playing style i guess: if play your guitar like Pete Townshend you might put one on it... altough if you play like him it's not gonna save your guitar either hahaha. Personally i have a very contolled way of picking; not really need a pickguard to protect the finish.... It really has a nice top, so i would leave it this way !!!!

Yeah I think I will. I really didn't do it for the protection. Just for design... My father is like it looks better with pickguard. And in some cases a guitar looks better with pickguard. Like a Stratocaster. And an gibson ES. But I think I will leave it this way. And I couldn't bear to drill in this thing....

Hahaha funny you noticed that... But yeah. Cigarettes around the world to be precise. I got from alot of country's. Strange habit but It's something I do long before I smoked. Collect them since I"m 6 now lol..... Didn't notice they were on there.

Yeah I don't see it very different from people who collect Matchboxes or stamps. LOl. People tend to react weird when i want to trade though... Sometimes I see someone with a pack I don't have and ask them if they can trade with my regular pack (though I collect I only smoke(ed) one brand... Would be easier if I just took another one each time I know but I don't like the taste of them all) and switch packs so they can carry they're cigarets in my pack know what I mean? And I have a new pack.... Lol.

Aah it's far bigger now. that picture is a year old and Though I collect since I'm six this year I got alot since my father has a new job that requires him to travell alot and to recieve guests from abroad alot, and I met this chainsmoking maniac from romania who sends me alot of russian/chech/romanian packs he get at the border.... It's far bigger then what you see there heheheh lol...

Thnx. ENGL is an awesome brand too. When I practice with some dudes (not a real band just to make alot of noise for fun) I never take my amp with me (I guess it's clear why) and then I play my friends ENGL. Don't know it's exact name but it's design has all these horizontal chains

Thnx... No one should hahah. I got really lucky with it. Got it last year from an older guy who had like 5 mesa stacks and even more other amps... Couple Marshall's and stuff.. He had enough and never used his rectifier so he Just sold it for like 1/3 of the price. Only played on it one or two times.. And the 4x12 cab I got because an Musicshop closed due to bankrupcy... You play guitar man??

Yeah I only have a Peavey XXL head into a randall 4x12, makes a lot of noise though! I've got some BM stuff of my own in the works probably post a few links up on here once i have it finished, kind of a slow process at the moment.

Thnx man! Ben erg blij met de Les Paul ja. Mesa is echt naar mijn mening het ultieme merk, maar dat kan persoonlijk zijn. Zeker vaak aan de prijzige kant maar had met de top geluk. Een man die verkocht hem omdat hij hem al een jaar had en hem maar maximaal 3 x had gebruikt ofzo... Hij had namelijk al 5 andere mesa amps staan... En hij had het geld niet echt nodig en wilde er toch vanaf omdat ie maar stof ving dus verkocht hem voor like 1/5e van wat ie er voor betaald had.... En ding is zo was zo goed als nieuw. Echt fucking geluk gehad. En de Mesa Cab levert echt een geweldige zware druk en geweldig geluid op. Wellicht alleen niet bedoelt voor het slaapkamerniveau waar ik het voor gebruik..

hehe kan ik begrijpen :) heb er zelf 2 (gibson les paul studio uit 1988 en een custom uit 1981)
en ja dat is altijd iets persoonlijks hehe ;), ken mensen die vinden sommige merken ram kut (zoals ik een hekel heb aan ESP gitaren...serieus begin er niet eens over,enige wat ik kan zijn die dingen tot de grond afzijken hoe kut ze zijn en rip off zijn van jackson en gibson, en de marshall MG series...ik vind transitorbakken al kut, maar dat overtrof alles.)
en daarmee heb je dan wel echt ram veel geluk! heb met mijn gitaren en versterkers ook geluk gehad kwa prijzen... vooral met me les paul custom die ik voor de helft van de prijs heb kunnen meekrijgen :)
en zou miss maar es dan een mesa cab moeten uitproberen... heb ooit van een vriend een fender cab overgekocht omdat die me elke dag me liep lastig te vallen en het geld zwaar nodig had...ugh... mja hahaha, zal er es voor kijken als ik geld heb :)!, je moet btw ook ff kijken voor redbear amps!! ze zijn super zeldzaam maar wel echt super geweldig!! heb op zo een top gespeeld,het is net een oude marshall jcm 800 maar dan met 10x zoveel potentie... heerlijk hehe!!
en ja opzich moet je zulke dingen gewoon op 11 draaien en niet slaapkamer niveau ;), mja ik heb superchille buren dus zet ik vaak genoeg m'n marshall op 11 hahaha (in feiten oefende ik vroeger met nuclear devastation in me kamer omdat we geen oefenruimte konden betalen hahaha... ga binnenkort een oefenruimte/studio/feesthok bouwen van me ouders garage dus dat scheelt :D!!!), als ik ze niet had had ik gewoon een orange 15 watt versterkertje genomen hehe, iig top om meer mensen te zien hiero die met gitaren bezig zijn :) hou me zelf ook veel bezig met lawsuit gitaren uit japan! geweldige dingen

Ohja mijn Mesa staat vol open hoor :P, ik bedoelde dat dat eigenlijk niet de bedoeling over het algemeen maar mijn buren doen niet moeilijk nee... Mijn vader heefd zelf ook een Mesa stack (express serie alleen, geen rectifier als ik) en speelt blues. En vaak als we allebei oefenen en de een de ander hoort kunnen we nog wel is qua volume tegen elkaar in gaan tot zegmaar we beide niet meer verder kunnen.... Moet een hel zijn om naast te wonen maar niemand klaagt... En toeval van de ESP man! Zo dacht ik heel lang ook! Haatte dat merk. Alhoewel ik later iets bijtrok en sommige wel vet vondt snapte ik dit nooit: Als je 2100 betaald voor een les paul model... Waarom laat je het godverdomme dan niet het originele model zijn! En koop je zo'n fucking eclipse! Ik bedoel voor hetzelfde geld heb je de echte! Ergste vindt ik een vriend van me die zo'n ESP eclipse heefd en het zijn 'les Paul' noemt... Blegh! Merken die je noemde ken ik niet. Moet me zeker in verdiepen!
