This axe is from the same person who made the axes used in the bandphotos by Marduk on the Opus Nocturne album. Sorhin have also used this type of axe, and Satyricon used it in the Mother North video. Do you have more info about this? It is 142 cm tall, and about 4 kg. I will consider to sell it if the offer is good...
Yeah great cult item - I still have the whole Photo Session of Opus Nocture Shoot with these Axes - as MARDUK were part of my first Issue of ARMAGEDDON Fanzine back in 1994. Cheers \m/
Thank You Erik for starting this interesting thread here and You TDL for the detailled infos - I will try to find the whole Original Pictures and post here on TSS soon. \m/
@TDL; Do you by any chance have Ismo`s last name? It would be of great iterest to get in contact with him to get detail knowledge about the axes he made in the 90`s. Cheers!
The Axe You posted is different from the ones that MARDUK were using during Opus Nocturne Era.
Look at the Arrow in the Mid of the Axe - this part is missing on the MARDUK Axes.
You can find the matching one here on TDL's Post: https://tshirtslayer.com/other-collectable/marduk-axe
