Savatage Hall of the Mountain King

Vintage Savatage Hall of the Mountain King back patch from 1988. The peak of the Savatage mountain (sorry…) in my opinion and I think it has to be my favourite metal album from 1987. One of those slightly smaller circular designs that seemed to become more popular in the 2000s, but it can’t suppress the power of the album artwork rendered therein. Huge pink marble effect logo and border score bonus points while the details from the art look crisp besides the king’s throne. Once again I let something go but felt it had to come back to the collection.
