Yes it's a semi transparent plastic case. I have developed a love/hate relationship with it. The graphics is so bad you got to love it.

And I just figured that the item's title mentions plastic...! Very interesting feature, I recently acquired an 80s Rainbow - Rising badge which seems to be conceived the same way. On the back there's a round metal plate with a safety pin. What's on yours?

Same as mine.. base on the back is metal with the pin and over it the plastic frame. It seems like the plastic frame snaps over the metal base
