Dancer - In the Beginning...
Sun, 20/03/2022 - 06:54Here’s a blind buy I made earlier this week. Dancer featured original Anthem singer Toshihito Maeda, who only sang on their first demo. One listen to this EP and it’s easy to tell why he didn’t make it past those formative years. The music is gloriously over the top, as I would expect from an 80s Japanese metal band. The vocals? Let’s just say they’re a bit untrained. That said, I’ve heard worse. Still a solid listen for traditional metal aficionados.
