Search field on Sale/Trade page

Does anyone know how the search works on the Sale/Trade page? I mean, I know how to use a search field but... This is what I get...

I type a band name: "Weakling" (either with or without using the auto-complete if the band exists), hit Enter on keyboard, "immolation" is now in the search field with Immolation results below.

I reload the page, I either get "immolation" after a search of any name, or a fragmented partial name of the first search I tried, like "muti"

Was in both Chrome and Firefox.
