I think you're right, at least they sucked major ass when I saw them in 2011. Jacket is very nice of course!

It's because of this that I'm hesitant to see Mayhem live. They are one of my all time favourite bands, but some of the live stuff online is just horrible. Especially the drums and the horribly obvious triggers. They might as well just have a drum machine, sounds like one anyway..

Really? Haven't seen Mayhem yet (they've come here once in the last decade and I missed it), but I've seen Watain a couple times and they kicked ass. Maybe due to only being openers, both times I saw them they were headlining.
Side note, but a buddy saw Mayhem w/Maniac back in '01, and said they were amazing. Maniac cut himself and all that..

The gig was cool! I´ve seen them a couple of times now, but the gig I bought this one was a gig to remember. They had dragged around some rotten smelly dead animal parts for months, and in a very small venue you can think how it smelled when it was animal parts, fire and blood everywhere! :O

it was rotten sheep parts, and it is no problem to drive it from Sweden to Norway. :p

I believe this border is easy but I can't imagine a full in costume Watain trying to get off the plane in Australia carrying rotting parts of dead animals. - Would be a funny story though
