Update on the Tolkien Black Metal/Lord of the Rings battlejacket and the patch collection. Made a start on the back, but I'm not satisfied with the it yet.
I tried to make a start on the front, but was not able to make a layout I liked. I like the minimalism on the back and want to keep that theme going in the front.

Nice mate.I absolutely love it.
Funny though: My first battle jacket also includes a Minas Morgul backpatch as well as the Argonath patches next to it :D
Ill post it, if its a bit more in progress.
And now Im a but annoyed by myself. I put the Argonath patches the other way around. They face their hands inward, which makes no sense if I think about it... meh... I havent realized this earlier :/

I was thinking about putting them the other way around too, but when I looked at art from the Argonath statues the bearded one was always on the right. Hence that is why I placed them this way around.

But mine is a "general battle jacket". So it's a metal jacket, which happens to haft quite some Tolkien based themes on it.

True, in the movie the bearded guy is on the right, like you placed them.
But in the movie they are both extending thir left hand, but I guess that didn't look as good with the patches and that why they flipped it for the guy on the left. Sweet patches though

Aaaah I dig this! Tolkein and Metal have always gone hand in hand. Maybe sneak a Blind Guardian patch into there? They've got a lot of songs that touch on Lord of the Rings and the Silmarillion
