Graveland Necroacrotomophiles Leather

Necroacrotomophile
Mon, 28/11/2011 - 00:50

Months late - every aspect of making this vest was done with a healthy load of procrastination. I plan on filling up the front, and have an idea of what patches to put on.

Thanks, I have that Dub Buk patch in the mail, and will get around to getting those custom ones from overzone in the coming months. When you ordered yours, what was the process like? Were you able to send them a JPEG with some desired dimensions and they worked from that?

ShieldbitersValhalla's picture

Nice!

When I order from Over-Zone, everytime I try to send an image in an e-mail, it turns out all jumbled when it gets to Elisa(woman who runs Over-Zone), so you have to figure out a way to go around that problem. Some ways you can do this are:

- if an image of the logo is somewhere on the web, you can send Elisa a link to it in an e-mail.

- if it's not anywhere on the web, well what I did was take a picture of a CD that I had of a band, and using image editing software, I made an image of only the logo. Then I put that image in an album on facebook, then linked her to that photo.

So I wouldn't recommend attaching an image directly into an e-mail when you send an e-mail. But I suppose you can try anyway to see if it works. It may just be me that it gets fucked up for when I try to attach files. Oh, and avoid sending images with gradations(like a color fading to another color), because that can't be embroidered. If it's a simple logo, you should be fine, and if not, then it should still be ok, because I had a Horn patch embroidered with good detail, which is a relatively complex logo. So if it's like Horn or Darkthrone, I think it should work out fine.

Love the Nargaroth BP!

love everything, not a fan of nargoroth at all, but that patch fits perfectly in the middle.

loving the dodsferd patch. Very underrated band. I saw em a few months back in Sacramento during the third and final date of their US tour. Great show, Wrath kicked the shit out of a drunk guy during their set

Yeah, I understand where a lot of the hate for Kanwulf comes from, but I am a sucker for the autumn induced ecstasy that I can only obtain from albums like Herbstleyd..

I am truly envious, Dodsferd would definitely be in the top 5 of black metal bands I would like to someday see. JUDGING BY WRATHS ALL-CAP INTRINSICALLY MISANTHROPIC DEMEANOR, AS FUNNY AS THAT STORY SOUNDS, IT DOES NOT SURPRISE ME! PLEASE DO TELL MORE!

mayhempunk666's picture

well our local BM heroes Killgasm were supporting Dodsferd on the Still Fucking Your Creation tour and got them to play an all day BM fest in Sacramento as the last date of the tour. So some gauged ear, white chapel shirt wearing poser d bag had been getting wasted since 1 pm (Dodsferd got up at about 10 pm) and since the stage was about a foot tall he could grab onto wrath. he kept doing it and spilling beer on him and wrath got more and more pissed and then just kicked the fucker square in the chest and gave him a few punches....and then everyone in the crowd started throwing in some kicks and quick shots haha

Even in a gathering with his own kind, there was still an ugly enough face of humanity present for Wrath to hate (and kick the shit out of nonetheless). What a truly beautiful and satisfying story.

nice vest! the simple layout looks really great on your vest, especially on the back. I have to say I'm not a fan of Nargaroth, in my humble opinion Kanwulf is the biggest cunt in metal save for mr. Mustaine, but the backpatch itself looks very good and ties the layout together :) I'm digging the Black Witchery, Revenge, Mgła and Belphegor patches as well. any plans on what patches you will be using to fill up the front?

Thanks! Simple and clean is what I was going for. I plan to add Dub Buk, Carpathian Forest, Drukh, Horn, Anti, Diagon, Vlad Tepes, Inquisition, and Peste Noire to complete it.

This will be a sight to see.

Really great patches, overall a very good job. A Graveland back patch is automatically going to get 5 flames from me, Rob Darknen's personal views I could care less about because his music is very powerful and the substance of his black pagan metal is powerful and true to it's purpose! Also special horns for the Panzerfaust patch,a Moonblood patch, Thy Light, the excellent Taake strip(that's what the TNBM patch is, yes?) and the Sargeist patch!

Did you directly contact Panzerfaust for the patch? I have yet to see them live, but a great way to show support for Canadian black metal!

Many thanks, I was right in predicting that you'd like this one! (and yes that is a Taake patch) As for the Panzerfaust patch, yes and no. I actually came by it by mistake, I was at a friends house and it was laying there and caught my eye (because as you said, a great way to support local hordes). He got it at a show however.

Blüdrayne's picture

i hope you dont mean you stole it from your friend.

Necroacrotomophile's picture

I asked him first, of course. It was just, as I've given him many patches in the past.

Nice set up! Graveland bp kicks ass on there! My leather kutte is gonna be similar with the black/white/red color scheme. Im saving my colored patches for my denim vest, which will be my secondary project!

Thanks, that patch is one of my favorites. I went about making vests the other way around. I first made my multicolored everything goes vest, then when that was complete, I was able to concentrate on making a slick black/white piece with fewer patches. As long as you know exactly what you're doing though, fuckin' give 'er!

Many thanks! Credits to you, as your "Bloody Black Metal Vest" gave me a lot of ideas for this. Over time, I plan to add Dub Buk, Carpathian Forest, Drukh, Horn, Anti, Diagon, Vlad Tepes, Inquisition, and Peste Noire to complete it.

Very nice! Don't care for the Belphagor patch but the others are awesome!

Great start, I like the planned layout. I'm liking the comments about Panzerfaust. I know those guys, I've played gigs with them, and they're a local band (sort of), so its cool to see them getting the exposure they deserve!
