My tiny leather jacket!

This is actually a children's jacket! It's hard to find one small enough when you're as skinny as me. Spikes inserted by hand. (Third picture pre-spiking, to show fit)

is that oj... in a pint glass???

No. It's Black Rat Cider, which is brewed not far from where I live. Ridiculously potent rotten apple juice :D

doyle92's picture

Sounds perfect, surely cannot be as disgusting beautiful as old Rosie though? Ha

Freyjawulf's picture

It's not quite as strong as Old Rosie, think it's around 6.5% instead of 7.3%. I think it tastes much nicer though - however, bottled/canned Black Rat is horrible, only draught is real!

doyle92's picture

Haha I know what you mean, Ever had Rosie on draught? Rocket fuel.
That black rat certainly looks fragrant I must say hah,
Ever tried Samuel Smiths Alpine lager?

Freyjawulf's picture

Oh aye, had draught Old Rosie many a time :p three pints of it and I'm near enough a wreck. Another deadly scrumpy is Black Dragon, brewed in Wales at about 7.5% draught. Ever tried that cider brewed by monks in Yorkshire..Ampleforth I think it's called?
Hmm, I've certainly had a Sam Smith's lager, I don't recall which one though.. not much of a fan of lager in general.

doyle92's picture

I've not yet tried those other two, I'll defiantely be having a look ha, I practically live in North Yorkshire technically so :p
Sammy smiths is rocket fuel in itself, no idea what they do with it then brewing but it hits you like a brick, Sam and Rosie would make a fine snakebite haha

Freyjawulf's picture

I miss Yorkshire so much! The Ampleforth one is pretty tricky to find, I had it in a pub in York which always has a good selection of scrumpy, apparently they'd been trying to get hold of it for ages.. went back to that pub a couple of weeks later and it was all gone, not seen it since. So worth it if you can find it, at least 8%!

doyle92's picture

Ah that's a shame, yes i will be deffo on the lookout,
York is beaut for alcohol mind.

Morbid_Welshman's picture

Being Welsh, I'm a familiar of Black Dragon :D Old Rosie caught me off guard the first time I tried it, haha :L

Freyjawulf's picture

Oh man, Black Dragon is so bloody lovely! The pub where most of the crust gigs get put on in Bristol has that on tap, those nights never end well :p

I'm mainly an Ale/Strong Lager guy, but I'm a sucker for a good Scrumpy :D

A good stout is proper tasty, can't ever manage more than one or two pints though! I get really full really fast and the next day is not a pretty sight....
