Forgotten Woods Vest III - The Monochrome Desolation / The Black & White version 2.1

This is my 3rd vest, with a black & white theme that was further refined between versions 1.1. (posted here before: https://tshirtslayer.com/battle-jacket/forgotten-woods-3rd-vest-version-11) and version 2.0 (not uploaded here) to "northern desolation" meaning b/w patches of Nordic bands, mainly black metal and preferably cold, grim and ugly. Bonus if woods, forests, marshes, wastelands and whatnot are featured.

I decided to be strict and pruned all non-Nordic bands already for 2.0 and got around to moving the Manes patch a bit as it really bothered me. I also added spikes and studs. This version isn't close to completion either, as now the patches with white/grey borders and/or glitter in them started to bother me and feel off-theme. So they're gone now, meaning this version isn't actual anymore either. It also didn't have anything on the sides as I hurried to get the front, back and spikes presentable for a gig on 17th April.

Wicked layout! The back looks especially good. Really need to get myself a Woods of Infinity backpatch too.

Thanks! I'm more pleased with the back as well and have started adjusting the front. W.O.I. don't have nearly enough patches, but the simple and crude logo shape works very well for this. Definitely pick one up, I think I bought mine from Ketzer Recs.

This is killer. The Forgotten Woods backpatch is too good. Great layout and excellent taste.

I love the FW symbol patch too, these sorts of designs have always appealed to me. And thank you, though since I've removed and replaced some of the patches on the front and have added three patches to one side. Waiting for one more to do the other side and then it's mostly more studs and minor adjustments before Steelfest.

Great job on the layout, and the white stitching looks good as hell! And your stitches are super straight. This is awesome.

Thanks for the compliments, appreciated! I'm pretty unsure on my stitching most of the time, so I'm glad it looks good to others! Just starting to work on the reworking of it for version... I guess 2.3. considering I wore a modified version already between this look and what I'm presently doing!
