My black battle jacket, bought so I can wear jeans to shows etc and not get caught out in a 'double-denim' situation!
I've taken to tailoring my battle jackets to fit properly and unlike my others I sized this one specifically to fit over a hoodie, so it's mainly a winter / colder weather jacket.
The Maiden 'Sonisphere Fokkers at 6 o'clock' back patch is a homemade one created from an extra t-shirt bought at the gig last year, as is the Armored Saint rocker immediately below it.
Unlike my first (blue) battle jacket, I decided to remove the collar of this one so that it fits better under a hoodie; that's the same reason there aren't many patches above the large back patch - they wouldn't get seen anyway! I also opted to completely remove the pockets and all of the buttons from the front to make more room for patches.
I have a few more plans for this jacket, specifically with a view to putting some more patches on the chest / front-shoulder areas. Updates to follow...

Did you cut the back-patch out of the shirt? I like the Metallica at Knebworth one, I was there :)
The Clairvoyant
I did, yeah. Cut it out and mounted it on some iron-on backing material to make it more patch-like and rigid so it was easier to sew on in position. Easier than it sounds, to be fair!

Cool vest you got going. The backpatch is pretty bad ass.
