Petroff Battle Jackets

My jackets so far. Up: Petroff (46), left: Janbell (M), right: Jofama (46).

The Petroff is heavy duty. Very worn and one zipper pull tab is missing. I wouldn't zip this up! But still good on chill days as I can wear a sweater etc under this one.
One inside pocket on the left side and a secret pocket under the D-ring. Like that one!

The Jofama has near mint leather. Beautiful! The leather is way lighter than on the others. Good for warmer days. Cannot zip it up as it's a lot smaller than the Petroff.. But I like them a bit small so no problems.
One inside pocket on the right (!) side. No pocket under the D. Wide collars and a wide piece of leather on the side of the main zipper that doesn't keep the shape and tend to hang a bit loose. I like the look of Jofama style jackets more but the Petroff style fits my appearance more.

The Janbell is in a good shape too! This onecwas a quite cheap find. The epaulettes are cut, which is nice as I'm not a big fan of them. Still have no guts to cut them off of my Petroff and Jofama.. The Janbell's D-ring isn't excatly D-shaped and the belt buckle isn't as cool as on the other brands (roundish instead of square). Two inside pockets which is great as I tend to carry a lot of shit with me.. No pocket under the D-ring which is a bit shame. The size is about the same as the Petroff's, maybe a bit bigger as I have no bigger problems zipping it up. Which I probably won't do..
The bad thing: very strong, awful sweat smell on the left armpit. Tried everything to get it off.. Not working. Any ideas?

The choice for pick-a-jacket-quickly-as-you-go: Janbell! Compact jacket!

I miss my finnish jacket I had as a teenage punk. It was branded "Kokkolan mokka- ja nahka-asu" if I recall.. Would love to have one of those someday.

A bonus is this very worn and small unbranded jacket. Don't wear it and will let it go.

Excellent! I had thought of buying Jofama/Janbell from time to time and I decided that Petroff suited my needs more. After seeing this, the way you describe each jacket made me want to buy a Jofama haha. In fact I had a few Petroffs in the past and recently bought another one haha. Sizing can be tough but it's fun.

you need to try Gehama with smaller brass zipper, like entombed member wore. IMO gehema is better and durable than petroff.

Put the jacket that smells in your freezer for a day or 2. Should kill any bacteria smells. Nice collection BTW!
