No Band Secure Pin Badge Fastners
I've seen a few questions asking about more secure ways to fasten pin badges. I've been making these fasnters from brass, they're secured by a grub screw and have never had one come loose. I think you can find similar things on ebay.
I've thought about getting a cnc company to make a batch of about 100 to 500 so that I could sell them. If anyone thinks there is a demand for them I may consider it in the future. I make mine by hand on a watch makers lathe, so that just wouldn't be economical.

Well you can buy them for 3 or 4€ on amazon so I don't think there's a need. But nice that you're making them by yourself!

I thought I saw some made from aluminum. Yea, I'll just keep a supply for myself unless anyone has problems finding them.

As they are they're still shorter than the standard fastners. You dont want them too short or the pin pokes out and can rip your shirt or scratch a jacket if you wear the vest over a jacket. In some cases where I made them shorter I cut the end off the pin to shorten it.

I could reduce the diameter a little and use shorter grub screws if theyre available.

This too answers a question of mine; I'd love to add some pins to my jacket, but they'd all end up lost using the regular fasteners, but these look pretty good :)
