The first time I heard about Wytch Hazel was at the Keep It True 2017 in Germany. We justarrived, I opened my first can of beer and a friend came to me and said, “wehave to watch Wytch Hazel, I promise you it will be a blast”. I arrived roughly10 minutes earlier and just wanted to slowly arrive, so I said he should gowithout me. Oh boy what a mistake.

After the Keep It True, I took the time and listened to Wytch Hazels debut“Prelude”, and it totally blew me away. The mix of heavy, harmonic guitars withwishbone ash vibes and English folk influences grew on me in a second.

I was very happy that I got a go from Wytch Hazel to do the official Patch totheir debut “Prelude”. The patches sold quickly, and the customers and the Bandwere as happy as I was with the outcome.

Prelude is still my favorite together with their Ep “The Truth”. The Songwritingis top notch, the epic medieval feeling was delivered so well, underlined withthe right amount of folk influences and the epic harmonic guitars. Theirfollowing Album got heavier and lost the folk influences. But the more “calm”medieval style with the English folk atmosphere is what makes this Album theirbest in my opinion!

The Patch was limited to 100 pieces, fully woven with gold glitter elements. Made in 2018
