Picked it up from the chicago show last month. Kind of disappointed they didnt make this a woven patch it is a screen printed one. Cool design but their other woven patches like shelf titled and time look much better
I’m only familiar with two types of printed - silk screen and mad patcher (bad quality/paper) print. This one doesn’t really seem like either - maybe laser print as you’ve described, it’s good quality for a printed patch
Screen printing means that a "screen" of various types of ink is applied to the fabric relatively superficially. Laser printing means that the cloth is treated with an electrostatic process that, roughly speaking, changes the color of the fabric itself. I'm not aware of a third type of printing being used in shirts and patches that are made from cotton or polyester fabric. Terms like sublimated or plastisol ink print are subsets of the former two.
Thanks for the info - it’s probably laser printing then. I had some really crappy Bathory blood on ice patch when I started collecting that was “printed” but felt like a piece of cardboard with paper glued on it

Thanks man! Yeah it’s nice for a printed patch, wish it was woven though like time and their self titled

Isn't this actually laser printed?

There's also old school screen print style.
