I think it might be an early 2000 re-issue like the pleasure to kill and beneath the remains were done.
Official but different machines were used wich is crucial to the way the weaving and the border turns out.

It represents where the logo is sitting atop the "hellish valley". You can check the cover. Whoever that designed this patch back then simply took the logo as it is in the cover artwork.
