Budgie Night Flight 81 blue text

Vintage woven Budgie patch recording their 1981 Night Flight tour as the band went out in support of their transitional record. Until recently, I was unaware that two versions of this patch existed because I only ever had a copy with red text. I am pleased now to lay my hands on the blue text version, which makes quite a surprising change to the feel of the patch. Having the colder colour somewhat central changes the feel of the main design and gives it a slightly moodier presentation. I'm glad to add this one to my collection and look forward to finding a place for it on a project.
