I'm against them, the fuck up the patches and the clothes :S

toxikdeath06's picture

Not really dude been using sewing machine for years never fucked up my shit..

Blüdrayne's picture

How does using a sewing machine fuck up patches and clothes?

If your a lazy idiot like me who doesnt have patience when taking off patches, thats how. Ive fucked up so many borders on my patches.

Blüdrayne's picture

Hence the problem is laziness and idiocy. not sewing machines.

Agreed

thrashing_death's picture

Ahhh I guess your right :(

But its just so annoying taking them off. It would be better if I sewed by hand, but I suck at it so it takes even more time.
Maybe since I'm re-doing my vest, I'll sew it by hand this time...

Blüdrayne's picture

Well think long and hard before you sew something down then. Measure twice, cut once.

Ever see a used patch that looks wrinkly? It's because it was sewed on too tightly with a machine. Not necessarily the machine's fault, but it don't happen if you hand sew. Here is an example of what I am talking about: http://tshirtslayer.com/patch/bolt-thrower-cenotaph-square-patch

toxikdeath06's picture

That's true but I don't think they look that messed up few wrinkles don't hurt ahaha XD good point tho

Blüdrayne's picture

It sometimes happens when I hand sew.

Oh so there is really no difference then.. hand sew, machine sew don't really matter as long as you get them on there your all good

Blüdrayne's picture

Admittedly, I do sew tighter than most. And my stitches are much smaller too.
