Wow!!! this one looks amazing. Makes me even more excited for the ones coming to me 🤘🥳🤘

I dont think its official ;)

Pull the Plug patches is releasing a lot of patches from big bands (Maiden, Priest, Slayer, Megadeth, Metallica, Death..and more). I don't think they can do it on such a massive scale, and calling them official, without getting major problems.
On the Maiden Number of the Beast back patch there is a stamp on the back with licensing; see: https://tshirtslayer.com/patch/iron-maiden-number-beast-back-patch-2021-...
Doing that without permission would be ballsy 😅

They wouldnt be the first^^

That's true too, but considering the scale of the operation (already for quite a while) I would be surprised that if it's an illegal practice that it has not been shut down yet.
Anyway, I think the back patch does look cool and is perfectly suited for my Priest dedication jacket 🤘😫🤘

Just checked, seems to be legit. Im really surprised since this stuff looks like the countless other bootlegs released by private persons during the last years (no offense)
Especially Maiden are very strict with their releases and copyright. How the hell did they get the permission?^^

As far as I know Pull the Plug patches started off with making patches 'with permission from the bands', but no licensing. All of a sudden they managed to catch some real big fish and releasing many official patches. I guess the owner did a great job marketing wise. Overall I think the quality of the back patches are very good. I have a few and I'm happy with them. Also this Priest back patch looks really sharp in my opinion.

I think sometimes less is more, I am old fashioned, like the old school patches where they concentrated on the main parts of the artwork and cut off the rest. This is way too much and colorful to me, also I am not into these "new" shapes.
But thats just a matter of taste :)
Is it a woven back patch?
Heavy Metal Chemist on
Yes, the back patch is woven. I'm also not a fan of all the odd shapes Pull the Plug patches is producing, however, as you said, it is a matter of taste. At least they are also trying to differentiate them from other patch makers, both in shape and border colors.
I'm agreeing with regard to the old school woven patches. Nothing beats them in my book. The artwork is generally phenomenal together with a very tasty application of glitter.

I don't like these weird shapes from them at all. Quality wise it's still fine I guess. Just wish they would've basically copied the old screen printed one.
