That’s not a misprint - it’s just worn out. Some patches do that.

This is really a mistake in production and has nothing to do with the fact that it is very worn. It was not added to some the skin color for some reason. Mine is just like that and it was unused at the time I sewed it on. There was some discussion about it here as well: https://tshirtslayer.com/patch/coroner-mental-vortex-purple-border-misprint
