Lol...no master here but it's a sewing technique. This style is literally woven. Embroidery would be something like a plain black patch with the band name only written out with thread.

I think they are definitely both some kind of print but most definitely official as I ordered them directly from MD13

They definitely do look printed and didn't have an impression they'd be bootlegs, at all. Bootlegs are usually album covers or rip offs of old patch designs.
